Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.

Last updated: 20 September 2026

The short version

We collect as little as possible. We only ask for your email when you contact us or buy the planner, we never see your card details, and we don't sell your information to anyone. Ever.

1. Who we are

CabbageSoups.com ("we", "us", "our") publishes and sells a digital meal-planning product — the 7-Day Cabbage Soup Meal Plan. This policy explains what happens to your personal information when you use this website or buy our product.

If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at the address in section 11.

2. Information you give us

We only collect personal information you choose to provide. In practice that means:

• Email address — when you contact us or complete a purchase. This is how we deliver the product and reply to you.

• First name — when you contact us or buy the planner, so we can address you properly.

• Optional details — such as your reason for trying the plan, or an order email when you contact us about a purchase. You can leave these blank.

• Message content — whatever you write in a contact form.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the planner is not intended for anyone under 18.

3. Payment information

We do not collect, see or store your payment card details. When you buy the planner, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. Your card number, expiry date and security code go directly to that processor and never reach our systems.

We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with limited transaction details such as the email address used at checkout and an order reference. That is what we use to deliver your download and to handle refunds.

4. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records basic technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. This is used for security, to keep the site working, and to understand in aggregate how people use it.

If we use analytics tools, they are configured to avoid collecting more than we need. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from this data.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses cookies and similar browser storage for two purposes: strictly necessary functions (keeping the site and any forms working correctly, and protecting against spam and abuse), and basic measurement of how the site is used.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. If you do, parts of the site may stop working properly — for example, the anti-spam protection on our forms.

6. Third-party services we rely on

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and deliver the product. They process limited information on our behalf and only for the purposes we set:

• Website hosting — serves the site and keeps basic access logs.

• Payment processing — handles your card payment when you buy the planner.

• Email delivery — sends your download link and any replies from us.

• Anti-spam protection — protects our forms from automated abuse. This may involve a technical check performed in your browser.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep your email address for as long as you're happy to hear from us — you can unsubscribe at any time, and we'll stop emailing you. We keep limited purchase records for longer where we're required to for accounting, tax and consumer-protection purposes.

Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry and keep a record of what was agreed.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you; ask us to correct anything inaccurate; ask us to delete it; object to or restrict how we use it; or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time.

To make any of these requests, email us using the address in section 11. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, and we won't charge you for a reasonable request.

If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We'd appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

9. Keeping your information safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and we keep what we hold to a minimum.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example if we add a new service provider or change how the site works. When we do, we'll update the date shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

11. Contact us about privacy

For any question, request or complaint about this policy or your personal information, email us at hello@cabbagesoups.com. Please put "Privacy" in the subject line so it reaches the right place quickly.
